چکیده
The high-altitude Indus basin is one of the most complex and inadequately explored mountain terrains in World, where reliable observations precipitation are highly lacking. Therefore, spatially distributed products developed at global/regional scale often used several scientific disciplines. However, large uncertainties estimates such data sets lead to suboptimal outcomes. In this study, performance 27 widely gridded belonging three different categories gauge-based, reanalysis merged evaluated with respect high-quality reference climatologies mean monthly precipitation. Widely statistical measures quantitative analysis techniques analyse spatial patterns distribution monthly, seasonal annual sub-regional scale. Mean cross validated corresponding adjusted streamflows using Turc-Budyko non-dimensional analysis. Results reveal poor moderately good sets. Evaluation of gridded multi-satellite precipitation (TRMM -TMPA) estimation performance in the Upper Indus Basin (UIB)
Data with acceptable gridded resolution of daily climatic variables are critical for hydrological and water resource modeling. The gauge-based interpolation methods usually used by hydrologic models in general do not cover the spatial heterogeneity of the variability of climatic variables in a catchment. The errors in the interpolated data fields have the potential to significantly bias hydrolo...

Deficiency and inappropriate distribution of reengage station is one of challenges faced by researchers in hydrology and climate science. In this research, evaluate the applicability of four gridded precipitation data products ERA-Interim, PERSIANN-CDR, PERSIANN-CCS and CRU as a supplement or substitute for ground data in a monthly time scales. This assessment was done by comparison with observ...

Extended abstract 1- Introduction In order to calculate the erosive power of rainfall, high-resolution precipitation data are necessary for rainfall erosion evaluation. However, collecting the required data on kinetic energy of the rainfall particles and precipitation rates with short-term temporal resolution is a time-intensive task, particularly in developing countries, and the collecte...
متن کاملResolution Errors Associated with Gridded Precipitation Fields
Spatial-resolution errors are inherent in gridded precipitation (P ) fields – such as those produced by climate models and from satellite observations – and they can be sizeable when P is averaged spatially onto a coarse grid. They can also vary dramatically over space and time. In this paper, we illustrate the importance of evaluating resolution errors associated with gridded P fields by inves...
